SUMMARY:Introduction to Race Relations in New Hampshire
DESCRIPTION:We have heard that New Hampshire is a predominantly white state. However\, that does not mean that people of color are not here or that they are not discriminated against. And that discrimination negatively impacts not only those who are discriminated against\, but also\, anyone in the community. Why? Because the community in which the discrimination occurs can be labeled as an unwelcoming/unfriendly place to live. \nThis session will explore the history of race in New Hampshire\, experiences of people of color in New Hampshire\, and what the NAACP is doing to eliminate the discrimination faced by people of color around the state.
